Giving Back: Results from Book Aid International

In thanks for our donation of 750 books in November of last year, Book Aid International recently sent us this progress report on their work:

• Our donation books were shipped to almost all of the 12 countries in which Book Aid works in sub-Saharan Africa. These are now proudly displayed on the shelves of school and community libraries where Book Aid modestly estimates each one will be read by at least five children.
• In 2010, Book Aid provided 341,734 books aimed at children and teenagers to partner organisations in 12 countries across sub-Saharan Africa and the Occupied Palestinian Territories.
• From primary school libraries in Namibia to donkey-drawn mobile libraries in rural Zimbabwe, Book Aid's children's book provision programme served more than 2,000 libraries over the course of the year.

Children of the World Memory Game Sneak Preview!

We are so excited to share the latest way to introduce children to new languages and cultures! The Children of the World Memory Game, due out in May, is inspired by If You're Happy and You Know It.
